Player Fines
You will see below a list of player fines which we have put into place for the forthcoming season. Please read these carefully and familiarise yourselves with each of them. The team Managers / finemasters for the 1st and reserve teams will be responsible for applying these misdemeanours and will keep a week-by-week record of each player to ensure that they are tracked and payments are received. You will be expected to pay these fines to your Manager within 7-days (i.e. the following Saturday after committing the offence). Please note that failure to pay fines within the stipulated timescale will result it the fine being doubled. Players are free to challenge the fines with the management / finesmaster and can pay £1.00 to do so, if found guilty (which you always will be) the fine will be doubled so please think carefully before choosing this option.
1. Late for Games - £2.00
If you arrive late on match day, whether playing at home or away, then a club fine will be imposed. However, this rule will not apply if you have contacted your Manager prior to match day to make them aware of the potential lateness.
2. Mobile phone going off in the changing room - £2.00
All phones should be switched off whilst in the changing room. If your phone is heard ringing then a club fine will be handed out. Obviously we appreciate that there are certain times when phones need to be kept on in case of an emergency and this must be agreed with management.
3. Booked for dissent - £5.00
If you are booked for dissent in any game then this will result in an additional club fine – you will still need to pay Sussex FA for your actual booking.
4. Sent off for dissent - £10.00
If you are dismissed from a game due to an act of dissent then this will result in an additional club fine – you will still need to pay Sussex FA for your actual sending off.
5. Non attendance at organised night out/club social event - £5.00
This is based on events organised with a minimum of 2 weeks notice by the team management or social committee and not random nights arranged on the day by the young lads.
6. Missing training - £2.00
Failure to attend any training session will result in a club fine unless your manager has given you prior consent.
7. Dirty boots - £1.00
Your manager/finemaster will check your boots on match day and if they are, in their opinion, ‘dirty’ then you will incur a club fine. Cleaning your boots in the changing room on match day does not constitute having ‘clean boots’ and you will therefore still receive the fine.
8. Own goal - £2.00
Speaks for itself, DON’T DO IT!
9. Missed penalty - £2.00
Shouldn’t happen as Coxy will hopefully not be taking them but anyone missing a penalty will be fined and removed from the responsibility.
10. Non payment of subs before each game - £1.00
Match fees should be paid prior to the managers team talk before each game, failure to do so will result in a fine being imposed.
11. Players Suspended via alternative football - £10.00
Any players receiving a suspension via pitch invasion, sunday football etc will be fined and no excuses.
12. From 10/08/2011 any players who do not sign up as a club member on the website will be fined £1.00
13. All fines are listed as a guideline and the 'fines master' and committee have the right to change or add to them at any point without any notice.
